Biography

Like many boys born in the 80s, Fred was fascinated with cars from an early age. “Auto” was among his first word´s and he kept pointing and shouting excitedly at each and every passing car while slowly growing his precious collection of matchbox and burago cars. (now safely stored in the basement with some of them passed on to his daughter´s – who could not care less)

While skateboarding was deemed “cool” for as long as he can remember, two movies specifically sparked his life long love for the sport: Back to the Future & Gleaming the Cube.

Unknowingly at the time, skateboarding influenced Fred far beyond the physical activity of riding his skateboard and led to a growing interest in design, directing, photography, video-editing and visual effects.After graduating with an MA in Design & Animation and a short stint in Hollywood, Fred worked for a number of high profile advertising agencies and brands like Puma, ABC Sports, Oakley, KTM, Red Bull Racing,…

After some recent and serious health issues Fred is now determined to dedicate as much of his time left to the things he is most passionate about: family, skateboarding, cars and design.
